About the Capita Foundation

The Capita Foundation is a private 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the support of innovative hearing research.

Named for its founder, Emil Capita, the Capita Foundation was established in 1985 to support hearing research at Colombia University.  In 2004, the Capita Foundation expanded its mission to include the support of pioneering research worldwide.  The Capita Foundation achieves this mission by serving two critical roles: Through the direct funding of innovative research and by encouraging the support of newer approaches to hearing research by sharing knowledge and connecting people and ideas.

For additional information or to personally speak with someone within the foundation, please feel free to contact us through any of the channels provided on our contact page.
